UOL has researched the world’s most expensive properties. The data comes from Luxe Digital, Robb Report and Forbes. The list of owners includes royalty, technology billionaires, renowned fashion designers and even a Brazilian, Lily Safra, from the family that owns the bank of the same name. See below.

Buckingham Palace (London, England)

  • The home of the British royal family is in London, England
  • According to Luxe, it’s currently worth $6.7 billion.
  • It has 775 rooms, 92 offices and 78 bathrooms.

Antilia (Mumbai, India)

  • Owned by businessman Mukesh Ambani, it is located in one of the most expensive areas in the world, Mumbai.
  • The building has 27 floors, but each is as tall as two.
  • Estimated value is $2 billion.

Vila Leopolda (Vilafranca de Mar, France)

  • Located between Nice and Monaco on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, it was once the most prized mansion in the world.
  • The house is owned by Brazilian philanthropist Lily Safra.
  • It has an estimated value of $750 million.
  • It has 11 suites, 14 bathrooms and more than 80,000 olive trees in the garden, which requires the daily work of 50 gardeners.

The one [O único] (California, USA)

  • As the fourth most expensive property in the world, The One tops the list of luxury American mansions.
  • The house costs $500 million (2.5 billion reals), according to Luxe magazine.
  • In addition to the nine bedrooms and multiple kitchens, the space features a nightclub, bowling alley, gym, theater, running track, swimming pool, whirlpool, and five other water features.
  • It is owned by film producer Nili Niami.

  • The house is shaped like a giant bubble with all rooms shaped like bubbles.
  • It was designed by Hungarian architect Antti Lovag and is valued at around $385 million.
  • Not only is the outside circular, but the entire property is a collection of small circular buildings with interiors full of curved lines and large works of art.
  • The property belonged to renowned fashion designer Pierre Cardin, who died in 2020.

The Odeon Tower (Monaco)

  • The sixth most expensive property in the world is an apartment with a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea.
  • It doesn’t have the luxurious gardens of the first places, but it does have its own infinity pool, waterslide, dance floor, and staff room.
  • The apartment is one of the most expensive in the world: $ 330 million.

Four Fairfield Ponds (New York, USA)

  • The property has a palatial setting worthy of a movie.
  • The mansion is one of the largest in the United States and features 29 bedrooms, 39 bathrooms, a basketball court, bowling alley, theater, billiards room, two tennis courts and two squash courts.
  • The property is currently valued at around $248 million.
  • It belongs to businessman Ira Rennert, CEO of the Renco Group, which is active in mining, among other things.

Kensington Gardens (London, England)

  • Although surrounded by milliondollar real estate in the Kensington area, Kensington Gardens stands out for its architectural expression reminiscent of an old London palace.
  • It is currently valued at $220 million.

  • Estimated value is $200 million.
  • The space has an artificial lake, a tea house and a bath house.
  • The entire room is furnished in a lodge style, reminiscent of a country house in the middle of the forest.
  • Lerry Ellison was once ranked the fifth richest person in the world by Forbes Magazine.

Beaverhead Ranch (Dillon, USA)

  • It is owned by businessman Fred Koch, founder of the oil company that eventually became Koch Industries.
  • Space is full of mountains and valleys, far from big urban centers.

  • However, more recent negotiations show the potential of real estate investments, which have had transactions of around $157 million in apartments.
  • The building features a portecochère (carriage porch), a wine cellar, private dining rooms and various leisure facilities.

Seven The Pinacle (Montana, USA)

  • Property owned by real estate developer Tim Blixseth is the largest private golf and ski community in the world.

  • Estimated value is $155 million.

  • The search for large areas far from urban centers places another ranch in Montana in fifteenth place.
  • The ranch sold for $136 million in 2020, according to the Robb Report.
  • The acquisition gave the new owner a place in the middle of a valley with several houses, a railway line and 2,000 Black Angus cattle.

Xanadu 2.0 (Washington, USA)

  • It is Bill Gates’ mansion and sits on the shores of Lake Washington.
  • According to Luxe Digital, it’s currently worth an estimated $127 million.
  • The room is full of technology in addition to the heavenly view. For example, music, lighting and temperature can be controlled via the lapel.
  • The house of what was once the richest man in the world still has an artificial lake with trout and salmon, seven bedrooms and, believe me, a remotecontrolled tree.

County Road (Florida, USA)

  • An oceanfront mansion, a consumer dream, has sold for $122 million, a current record in Palm Beach, Florida.
  • It belonged to former US President Donald Trump, who sold it to Russian businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev.
  • The property features nine bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, an oceanfront pool, cabana, sixcar garage and guest house.

  • The Lshaped house overlooks the beach on one side and the lake on the other.
  • The area, which was acquired by a real estate fund, is estimated at 109 million US dollars.
  • The property features nine bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a four car garage and a guest house.

  • The property, which was bought anonymously, is currently priced at $95 million.
