War in Ukraine: Volodymyr Zelensky close to tears at mention of his family in the middle of a conference

On February 24, in the midst of a press conference marking the disastrous anniversary of the 1-year war in Ukraine, the country’s President Volodymyr Zelensky was very moved by the mention of his family and recalled the horrors of the war sparing the private lives of heads of state not.

“The most important people for me”

Regarding his wife and children, the President regretted that he had not seen his family since the beginning of the war.

I love them, my wife, my children, who are certainly the most important people to me. I don’t see her often. I don’t see my parents at all. I’m really proud of my wife.

A few weeks ago, the President of Ukraine sent his wife a touching message via an Instagram post praising her Patriotism and its strength as well as the love she felt for him and her children on the occasion of his birthday.

Olena and Volodymyr Zelenskyi met decades ago when they were just together 17 years. They married a few years later, in 2003, before welcoming their first child, a baby girl named Oleksandra, the following year. Their son Kyrylo was born in 2013 and completed the small family.

Since the beginning of the conflict, the First Lady of Ukraine has been very close to the citizens and regularly sends them support postmainly through his Instagram account.
