This applies in particular to Estrie, Centre-du-Québec, Mauricie and Chaudière-Appalaches. For the Capitale-Nationale we can expect an alternation of sun and clouds throughout the day.
Extreme cold warnings are in place in far north Quebec, namely Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean, Côte-Nord and Nord-du-Québec. Wind chill will be between -38 and -42. There is also a risk of frostbite. However, in these places we can see the sun.
Finally, sun and clouds share the sky in Gaspésie and Bas-Saint-Laurent, with a 30-40% chance of snow showers. If it cools down to -30, there is also a risk of frostbite.
