He may have been a Muppet for revealing details about how he lost his virginity in a field behind a pub, but Prince Harry’s indiscretion could still do some good.
The woman he was fooling around with is auctioning off the Miss Piggy toy he got her for her birthday that fateful night. Sasha Walpole, 40, a Wiltshire digger operator, is hoping to raise money to help victims of the Turkish-Syrian earthquake, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
Harry sparked a global guessing game when, in his memoir Spare, he wrote about sex with an “elderly woman” who had treated him “not unlike a young stud”. After weeks of intense speculation, mother-of-two Sasha told this newspaper she is his mystery lover.
Last night she said: “The earthquake happened the day after my story was published and I remember thinking about how much more important that was than who had or hadn’t slept with a prince.
“I thought auctioning off this piece of cheeky royal memorabilia might be my way of helping.

“Miss Piggy has lived quietly up in my attic for 20 years so hopefully someone can give her a new life that matches her colorful outfit and story.
“For me it was just a stuffed animal that a friend gave me. But I hope it raises a lot of money for a good cause.” Harry, now 38, was a 16-year-old Eton pupil at the time he met Sasha. He was a guest at her 19th birthday party at The Vine Tree pub in Norton, Wiltshire in July 2001 and bought her a tray of schnapps before the two sneaked out to take a cigarette from Harry’s security force.
“He started kissing me,” she told MoS. “It was passionate, intense, we both knew that. We had no intention of doing it and I didn’t know he was a virgin. It was fast, wild, exciting.”

Sasha loyally kept Harry’s secret for 20 years and only revealed it after the release of Spare in January. Harry won Miss Piggy on a trip to Thorpe Park, Surrey, on the day of Sasha’s party. He stuffed his bra with tissues, then presented it with a comedy card that featured a bloated whale and was signed “lots of love, Baz” (his nickname).
The map is not included in the auction that opens on eBay today. The money raised goes to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
Sasha hasn’t heard from Harry since the story broke. She said: “I’m not offended but it would have been nice given the upheaval it caused.”
