Two young Israelis were shot dead in occupied North Bank on Sunday in what the Israeli government has dubbed a “Palestinian terrorist attack” on their car. The attack happened on the main street in Huwara, near Nablus, where an AFP photographer saw Israeli soldiers conducting searches.

It comes as a meeting opened in Jordan on Sunday between Palestinian and Israeli leaders to try to end the spiral of violence that has been seen since the beginning of the year after the government formed by Prime Minister Binyamin took office in late December Netanyahu (right) with far-right allies and ultra-Orthodox Jewish parties.
