Actor Bolo Yeung played the role of the character chong lithe main opponent of JeanClaude Van Damme In “The Great White Dragon“. Known for the phrase “Very good, but the brick doesn’t bounce back,” the villain was fondly remembered by fans.

Bolo began his career in small roles and, due to his large physical size, began playing villains and henchmen. In the 70’s he met the great master Bruce Lee and became one of his students.

In 1973 he played Master Han (Shih Kien) in the classic “Enter the Dragon”. The experience was very positive for his career, and Yeung landed other prominent roles alongside Lee.

His trademark in the films was the “Fight Without Looking” style that even made him one of the most cartoonish villains of the time. Bolo rose to prominence alongside Van Damme in The Great White Dragon.

Considered by many to be the film’s true star, he was also responsible for some striking phrases such as “You broke my record, now I’ll break you like I broke your friend”.
