The actor Christopher Atkins graduated 21 February 52 years old. Born in New York, in the United States, he became quite famous in cinema playing the role of the character Richard Lestrange in The Blue Lagoon.
The classic was also starred by actress and model Brooke Shields. The plot follows the story of two children who end up on a deserted island after a shipwreck. When the only adult accompanying them dies, they must survive the inhospitable place alone.
As they grow up, Emmeline and Richard deal with their changing bodies and eventually fall in love. The film was released in American theaters on July 5, 1980.
In Brazil it was shown numerous times through the Session of the Afternoon shown by TV Globo. Some of Atkins’ recent works include Kids vs Monsters, Waiting in the Wings: The Musical, and Amy She Feels Evil.
The actor has an official Instagram profile where he shares details about his routine. In one of the posts, he appeared next to a fan at the gym. In the caption, Kristopher joked that the photo was for the girl’s mother.
