Christina Applegate canes message at 2023 SAG Awards: “FU MS”

Actress Christina Applegate let her cane do the talking as she walked the red carpet at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night.

The ‘Dead to Me’ actress, 51, carried a black cane with ‘FU MS’ written on it. The cane also featured several other designs, including her daughter’s name with a heart on it.

Applegate’s 12-year-old daughter Sadie Grace accompanied her in a coordinating black outfit.

Applegate revealed she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2021 while working on the final season of Dead to Me.

The star rocked a similar message against the disease when she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in November.

The “Anchorman” actress sported a black and white manicure with “FU MS” written on the nails.

Applegate previously hinted that Sunday night’s performance at the SAG Awards could be the final awards show of her career as she continues to battle the disease.

“It’s probably my last awards show as an actress, so it’s a big deal,” she told the Los Angeles Times earlier this month, referring to her performance at Sunday’s SAG Awards.

Applegate was nominated for Best Female Lead in a Comedy Series for her work on Dead to Me.
