They are reminiscent of ex Menudo Ray Reyes with an emotional interpretation of the song “Si tú no estás”

Former Menudo Johnny Lozada, Miguel Cancel and Ricky Meléndez performed the cult song “Si tú no estás” by their partner Ray Reyes, who died about two years ago of a massive heart attack, at the Coca-Cola Music Hall last night.

The trio performed to a full house as part of the Súbete a Mi Moto Tour, which accompanied singer Guillermo Dávila’s show

The last performance of “Si tú no estás” with the Súbete a Mi Moto Tour was performed by Ray Reyes before the pandemic in a concert during the February 2020 tour in Atlanta, USA.

Miguel gave a short introduction and dedicated the song to the Ray Reyes family present, his fans and of course Ray: “(…) it has been more than two years since the song was not performed. With all the respect in the world today. I know it will never be heard the way he interpreted it. But with all due respect to his family, to all his loved ones, to all his fans, and all credit to you, Ray Reyes, forever when you’re not here.”

“Man, I really didn’t know if we could sing it,” Johnny said.

The Súbete a Mi Moto Tour continues its world tour in several cities in Colombia, then on to Mexico for an internal tour that will include several presentations, as well as some cities in the United States, Argentina and the Dominican Republic.
