Storm Juliette causes snowstorms and subzero temperatures in Spain
A strong cold air storm arrived in Spain this Monday (27), causing Temperatures down to 18.6°C. The storm, named Juliette, left villages and towns in northeastern Spain completely white and brought heavy snowfall across the country.
The storm, formed by a layer of cold air from the Arctic, triggered extreme cold warnings in 30 provinces in Spain.
the province Lleida, also in the Catalonia region, recorded 18.6°C at dawn this Monday, according to the Spanish weather agency (AEMET).
In the mountains of Collserola, near Barcelona, locals took advantage of the allwhite landscape to take photos.

The storm also reached the neighboring region of the Basque Country, where children from the municipality of EstellaLizarra took the opportunity to build snowmen in a park.
Juliette is expected to cause low temperatures and strong cold winds across the country through Thursdayinformed AEMET.
