Singer MC Gui had everything ready to put another reality show on his resume, but his plans were scrapped after an accident that resulted in a ruptured knee ligament. Along with his parents Baronesa and Rogério, he would take part in the musical dynamic Cantando em Família, a new SBT production to be screened as part of the Silvio Santos program.
Through the stories of his official Instagram account, the funk singer (24) revealed to fans last Friday that he is in the recovery process and had to undergo surgery: “I injured my knee playing soccer here in São Paulo earlier this month. I had an MRI, I was on a trip and halfway through the trip I discovered I had a cruciate ligament tear. In short, I need surgery,” he began.

“I can go straight, but if I go around a curve… we have to restore the tape. I was full of plans, but they’re being postponed,” the musician said after being hospitalized for the knee injury. Shooting for the new attraction was supposed to start this week, but the artist has to rest in the postop period.
Information about the reality was published by columnist Gabriel Perline from the iG portal. According to the publication, SBT stated that there is no date when recording would start and that there is no confirmation as to which famous person will replace MC Gui. It is worth remembering that the singer was in the lineup of A Fazenda 13 (Record TV) after being eliminated in 13th place.
