Justin Bieber cancels world tour for good. Last June, the Canadian artist canceled some stages of the Justice World Tour for health reasons. The pop star had been diagnosed with the rare Ramsay Hunt Syndrome that paralyzed half of his face, and it was he himself who explained it to fans with a video on Instagram: “My body tells me to slow down. I hope you understand. I’m just going to use this time to rest and relax and get back to 100 percent so I can do what I was born to do.” He then returned to the stage in July, but then announced again that “I’m fine, but I need time to rest and get better,” he assured. Now comes the news of the cancellation of all UK concerts scheduled for March and subsequent performances in the UK USA, Australia, Ireland and France.
The world tour also included two dates in Italy, at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna) on January 27 and 28, which were then postponed (dates not given). TicketOne has already informed Italian fans, warning those who bought tickets that they “will receive the automatic re-credit on the same payment instrument used during the purchase, without having to submit a refund request”.
In January, the artist sold the rights to his music catalog for $200 million to Hipgnosis, the latest in a long line of stars like Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen to have sold their repertoire.
