He opens fire on a moving city bus in Gatineau

A city bus in Gatineau was the target of gunshots Thursday night in Outaouais. Fortunately, no one was injured in the events.

The shots were fired at around 1am on a Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) bus traveling in the Mont-Bleu sector.

According to authorities, the driver was about to complete his route when the incident happened near the intersection of Cité-des-Jeunes and Mont-Bleu boulevards.

The bus driver told police he heard deafening noises while driving his imposing vehicle.

He then stopped the bus to check, but didn’t see anything suspicious.

It wasn’t until he returned to the municipal garage that he noticed bullets hit the bus.

Fortunately, the city official was not injured and there were no passengers on board the bus at the time.

By examining the city vehicle, the police were able to determine without a doubt that it was in fact a shot from a firearm.

Investigators and forensic identification technicians went to the crime scene to try to see more clearly in this case.
