In a video post published this Friday, Yevgeny Prigozhin said that the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut was “virtually surrounded” by Russian forces. From the point of view of the head of the Russian mercenary organization, there is only one way out for the Ukrainian armed forces.
“Wagner’s units have practically surrounded Bakhmout, there is only one way left” to get out“.
In the video, according to Portal, uniformed men with a Wagner Group flag appear on top of a damaged building. One of the members appears in the pictures with a musical instrument and dancing.

Ukrainian forces, in turn, continue to try to hold their positions and defend the city, even under constant Russian attacks. In his daily message, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine’s armed forces were “paying special attention to Bahkmut.”
