These were retained until the name change to Los Chankas CYC, with a completely different shield honoring the Chanka warriors of Andahuaylas. With cherry as the main color, there is currently no trace of these symbols.

Why did Cultural Santa Rosa have 3 stars when it was never a champion?

Although founded in 1989, the team’s prominence in Peruvian football began in 2010, when it returned to the regional stage of the Copa Peru for the first time in 23 years. He entered this instance as a departmental runner-up.

The squad were champions of the Apurímac departmental league in 2011 and 2013.
