“The Cry of the Moths” is a historical drama inspired by real events, depicting life on an island ruled by the tyrannical regime of dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo, also known as “el Chivo”, who ruled the Dominican Republic from 1930 until his assassination 1961 As a backdrop, the plot revolves around the friendship between young Spanish immigrant Arantxa Oyamburu and Minerva Mirabal, a wellknown Dominican political activist who, along with her sisters, was nicknamed “The Moths” and became a Latin American legend when she visited Trujillo faced and to contribute to the sudden end of the cruel dictator. The series chronicles the connection between two young and courageous women whose encounters and disagreements were marked by brutal events surrounding the Trujillo dictatorship for more than two decades.
The series created by Juan Pablo Buscarini and guided by Mariano Guardian, Leandro Ipina It is Ines Paristackles timely issues of major relevance such as genderbased violence, women’s entitlements, female empowerment, political corruption and abuse of power through a powerful story that will move the public and provoke thought.

With an epic and dramatic tone, touches of humor and irony, elements of a passionate thriller and a modern and impactful aesthetic, the series traces two parallel timelines. On one hand, the story focuses on the last three months of the boxer’s life to uncover the downfall of a socialite looking to reinvent himself. On the other hand, the plot chronicles Ringo’s life milestones chronologically, beginning with his humble beginnings and close relationship with his parents and siblings and continuing with his arrival in amateur boxing and rapid rise, his boxing debut at Madison Square Garden in New York, and his consecration as Argentinian champion. The series also reveals his commercial success and the magnetic aura of being a socialite he invented, which led him to recording, performing in theater and on television.
Ringo: Glory and Death consists of seven 40minute episodes recorded at various locations in the Argentinian cities of Buenos Aires and Mendoza Nicolas Perez Veigawho also serves as showrunner, along with Alejandro Ocon, Gabriela Larralde, Diego Palacio It is Santiago Dulce.
