The world’s 50 most attractive nationalities have been unveiled – and India is number 1 while the US beats Sweden to second place.
The ranking was created by analyzing thousands of Reddit posts about attractive nations. All Reddit posts related to “attractive”, “sexy”, “beautiful”, “pretty”, “beautiful”, “handsome”, “pretty” and “hot” with a country were analyzed. A score was then created from the number of posts, comments and upvotes.
According to the study by swimwear brand Pour Moi, Japanese are the fourth most attractive, Canadians are the fifth most beautiful and Brazilians are the sixth best.
The remaining top ten are made up of France (7th), Italy (8th), Ukraine (9th) and Denmark (10th).
The UK misses out on a top 10 spot – it comes in at 12th. But the study found that British men are considered the most attractive.

In the ranking of the most attractive male nationalities, India ranks second, followed by Italy, the United States and Sweden in fifth place.
The table of the most attractive female nationalities is headed by India, with Japan in second place, Sweden in third, Poland in fourth and Italy in fifth place.

As part of the study, Midjourney, an AI imaging tool, was tasked with creating images of what attractive people look like in 14 of the countries.
Pour Moi said: “When it comes to the most attractive women around the world, Indian women top the list of Reddit users. With a hugely successful Bollywood film scene featuring women wearing gorgeous dresses and equally striking makeup and hair, it’s easy to see why these women have been crowned the most attractive.

“Rounding out the first three are Italian men who are known for being very passionate about life and being more expressive with their feelings. It’s easy to see why users would find her so attractive.”
