The moving letter from a child inviting Messi to live in his city: "no one will hurt you"

The little boy sent the letter to the Argentinian star after the attack on his wife Antonella Rocuzzo’s family.

Last Thursday, March 2nd, the family business of Antonella Rocuzzo was attacked in the Argentine city of Rosario. The supermarket was shelled and the criminals left a message for the PSG player. “Messi, we are waiting for you. Javkin is a drug dealer, he won’t take care of you.” After the attack, a 10-year-old Messi wanted to write via his social networks, but the child’s mother advised him to write him a letter instead.

In the note, the little boy asks Messi to live in his city in southern Argentina, where nobody would disturb or hurt him. “Hello Messi. I’m Martín, I’m 10 years old and I asked you if you could come to Colonel Dorrego. It’s a quiet city, no one will hurt or bother you. I want to play soccer with your kids,” wrote the youngest.

According to the mother, as soon as he found out about the attack, the little boy thought of writing to the captain of the Argentina team. He also pointed out that the touching message was written on wrapping paper, which the child tore up.

“The truth is that it moved me a lot because he wrote, because he thought about it. And she contacted another mother (…) to tell me that it was every child’s thought and that we’re going to make it viral,” he said.
