The bastards all look serious, but it’s not true: we were actually a gang of madmen! Life on set is a crazy life: we get up at 5am to shoot during the day or we wake up in the afternoon to shoot at night. It’s a wonderfully crazy life, we live in RV’s in the city. In the morning when I was putting on my make-up, starting at 5:30 a.m., there was a soundtrack by the Neapolitan Neomelodici in the background, an incredible world that I didn’t know and that I’ve learned to love. Whoever came brought babas, then it was on to fried pizza. At lunchtime, the catering, which is never as rich on sets, offered sausages and broccoli, pasta, potatoes and provola and all sorts of Neapolitan specialties instead. I protested: “Guys, I don’t go into clothes anymore!“.
Regarding Naples, Crescentini, who is currently working on the Rai fiction filmed in Naples Mare Fuori, stated that it has grown on her:
i love naples Yes, it’s a world unto itself. They offer you food all the time. For the filming of this second season I rented a small house to cook something in the evening and because after months, even trivially, you feel like a nice minestrone. Instead, I immediately made friends with the whole neighborhood and on the way home they let me taste everything, they invited me to dinner. For some poetic things, Naples is stuck in the ’50s.
