A cloudy day over Quebec on Sunday

Clouds will gather over much of Quebec on Sunday as the snow that has fallen over the past few days will take a day off.

This is particularly evident for the western part of the province, namely Greater Montreal and its adjacent regions of Montérégie and Outaouais.

For central Quebec, the same phenomenon is mainly observed in most regions except Mauricie and Centre-du-Québec where sun and clouds alternate. A sunny day is expected for the Capitale-Nationale and Chaudière-Appalaches. The same goes for Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean.

The sun will also be felt in eastern Quebec. This is what Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie will see, as well as much of the Côte-Nord. However, mercury will not rise as quickly for these regions: it will fluctuate between -16 and -18.

Only the Magdalen Islands are not spared from the snow and are preparing for up to four inches tonight and next.
