The organization announced new measures in a press release on Sunday. Among the measures taken, we count the addition of 150 additional employees who will gradually be assigned to the branches; longer opening hours, daily, depending on the number of visitors; Services by appointment on weekends; the reception capacity available to the public on the website; new digital self-service kiosks; and an interactive map to find the nearest service point. The support phone number for the SAAQclic platform is 1 833 466-1322.
The Government Authentication Service will also be improved. In order to facilitate the creation of a SAAQclic account, when registering online it will be possible to receive your notification number by telephone instead of by post. This information is also available from Revenu Québec. From March 13, the authentication process will be simplified in seven SAAQ branches and will therefore be carried out with two ID cards or health insurance cards and driving licenses instead of four.
Customers who are having trouble authenticating are asked to call Services Québec at 1-877-644-4545.
Due to the technical issues reported by dealers, in addition to a major update of the SAAQclic dealer portal carried out this weekend, 15 additional employees will be taking calls to offer support, an email box will be set up to explain the difficulties encountered report, and a web page will report the technical issues resolved or analyzed.
The SAAQclic platform would like to reassure its customers that its teams are “working tirelessly to restore the situation as soon as possible”.
