The 20 hours of Sunday March 5th takes you to Vietnam to discover a spectacular glass walkway installed over a lush jungle. A pleasure that can be shared digitally.
A transparent bridge, the longest in the world, hovers 150 meters above a river in Moc Chau (Vietnam). “The White Dragon” is 632 meters long and entered in the Guinness Book of Records. It’s the country’s newest tourist attraction, delighting tourists soaring above nothing. For others it is a feeling of fear. “I can’t look down, I’d rather hold on tight,” says one woman.
2,000 visitors per day
“It feels like walking over nothing, it really makes you want to fly away,” enthuses one man. The Vietnamese have dethroned the Chinese, previous holders of the record for the longest bridge. “It’s so big, we’re so proud of this bridge,” said one Vietnamese woman. The construction of the steel and glass construction took a year, a private investment of 30 million euros. Today, the bridge attracts 2,000 visitors a day to a remote region in the northwest of the country.
