Several circuit general managers have told the Bally Sports Network that the Tennessee Titans are looking to trade Derrick Henry.

The 29-year-old has been dominant since joining the NFL in 2016, including being the running back with the most rushing yards twice in the last four seasons and winning the League Most Outstanding Offensive Player of 2020 title.

Henry has been the main offensive weapon against the Titans for several campaigns. He has run the ball 1,249 times since 2019, 174 more runs than any other running back to have worked in the NFL during the same period.

In 2023, the University of Alabama product will play the final year of a four-year contract and earn a salary of $10.5 million. Trading with him could save the Titans $6.3 million on their payroll.

The Tennessee squad had a disappointing 2022 season, taking a 7-10 lead. She had to settle for second place in the American South section and missed the playoffs for the first time in four years.

The Titans would consider going into Reconstruction. They also intend to release quarterback chaser Bud Dupree, according to NFL Network.

“I found out about it on Twitter,” Dupree said in a tweet that he has since deleted.

The veteran signed a five-year, $82.5 million contract with the Titans in 2021. However, he has been limited to 21 games since joining the team due to injuries.

Good news for the “Jags”

The Jacksonville Jaguars can count on the services of wide receiver Calvin Ridley this season. On Monday, the NFL decided to reinstate him.

The footballer has been suspended indefinitely since March 2022 after an investigation revealed he bet on games at the circuit in 2021 while wearing the colors of the Atlanta Falcons.

The Jags took over the Georgia club last November.

Ridley caught 31 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns in five games in 2021. Last year he rushed for 1,374 yards and reached the end zone nine times in 15 games.

In summary

The Dallas Cowboys have announced they will use their franchise player tag to push back Tony Pollard. If the player and the team don’t agree on a long-term contract, the athlete could get a little over $10 million in 2023.

The Minnesota Vikings will release linebacker Eric Kendricks, who has been one of the team’s starters since his draft in 2015. The organization saves $9.5 million on its payroll.
