An investigation by the Commission on Standards, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST) is underway.

David Blouin, CNESST regional spokesman, confirms that a team on the ground intervened. So it is an accident at work. Inspectors are working to secure the area and gather the information needed for their investigation.

The health and safety of our employees and contractors is a priority for Hydro-Québec. We are very concerned about what happened this morning. One accident is always one too many, added Caroline Des Rosiers.
