A night of fun in Nagpur, India ended in tragedy after a 41yearold man ingested alcohol and two 50mg Viagra pills twice the recommended dose.

As reported by the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine, the victim spent the night with a woman in a hotel, where he was already drunk on the drug. When he woke up the next morning, he had a headache and vomited.

The companion recommended that he seek medical help. However, the man refused, saying he had faced the same symptoms on other occasions.

Despite this, with his condition deteriorating, he was rushed to the hospital, where he arrived without showing any vital signs. According to the scientific journal, the man suffered a hemorrhagic stroke as a result of mixing alcohol with the drug — a rare side effect, according to experts.

The fact that the patient was hypertensive also contributed to his early death.

British tabloid Chron added that the victim of the bleeding did not have a prescription to purchase Viagra, which may have affected the drug’s dosage.

Still in India, check out the following photos of sewer workers in Mumbai:

In Mumbai, India, around 30,000 conservationists, also known as sweepers, live an intense and unhealthy not to say hellish working day. Photographer Sudharak Olwe captured the lives of these people who spend their days in sewers and rubbish to keep the city clean. Look at the pictures: all sweepers belong to the Dalit caste, formerly known as the untouchables. They collect garbage, sweep streets, clean gutters, fill and empty trucks, and work at landfills.

These people often have to descend into sewers some are so deep they could accommodate a doubledecker bus. After emerging, it can take hours for the worker to “recover”. The job requires no special skills, just a pair of arms and legs and the courage to go under, which would be “hell” for many.

Parmar uses a heavy wooden broom to clean these stairs it takes 30 to 40 strokes to make a small pile of the tiny leaves he plucks from the steps. And this work must be done very quickly, before the leaves are blown away by the wind.

The material these workers remove includes animal carcasses, food scraps, steel wire, medical waste, sharp wooden beams, rocks, broken glass, and even blades.

Removal is hard work and the tools for it are primitive: hands are used to lift the trash and shoulders are used to carry it. Jadhav, who has held this position for several years, does not like to talk about his work. There are scars on his shoulders from the wooden sticks. Asked about pain, he nods his head

There are four landfills on the east and west ends of town, all of which are already full. None of them have a canteen or even a small room where workers can change clothes or just sit down to rest during a break.

One “perk” of the job is the right to a small home, but many end up having to be split between two or more families. A line on the ground divides the “territory” of each of them

Hiraman’s wife, who declined to be photographed, is furious because she says the sweeper only gives her 150 rupees (£3) a month to maintain the house. When this recording was made, she threatened to leave him — he told her to shut up. Hiraman is visibly drained and likely won’t live long. If she dies, she will be considered a “pathetic case” and will inherit her job.
