Like Microsoft and Google, Salesforce, owner of Slack, is also integrating a chatbot (chatbot) AI in its working software to automatically write simple messages and summarize meetings.
People with access to the app can click the three-dot icon on a thread and then click Post Reply instead of typing the reply themselves. It’s not yet clear how detailed these answers will be or if they might get a bit weird at times. Of course, it is possible to modify the answers to suit the conversation.
Additionally, the Slack ChatGPT bot can help you find answers “on any project or topic” with its AI-powered search tools, as well as aggregating channels or threads to keep you up to date with what’s going on at work.
The company’s adaptation of OpenAI’s ChatGPT model for customer relationship software systems is part of the larger Einstein GTP program at Slack.
As marketing tools
According to Salesforce, Einstein GPT integrates AI technologies from Salesforce and OpenAI, enabling it to generate emails that sales reps can send to customers, create answers to customer questions, and create “targeted content” for marketers.
In general, several other companies, including Microsoft, Google, and Meta, are also exploring ways to integrate AI into their products.
For example, the CoPilot AI program for Microsoft 365 can write customizable emails or messages to customers, as well as create marketing content.
