Jessica Chastain looked stunning at the opening night of A Doll’s House in New York City at the Hudson Theater on Thursday.

The 45-year-old actress looked dapper in a black velvet jumpsuit with a Victorian-inspired beaded collar as she posed on the red carpet ahead of her performance in the revival play.

The George and Tammy star, who said her “whole body was shaking” after stumbling onto the stage to accept her SAG award last month, paired the appropriately doll-like look with satin cuffs and champagne- Gold with shiny platform heels.

She later posed with the talented cast as well as the acclaimed playwright behind the adaptation – Amy Herzog.

A host of celebrity guests also attended the opening night of the highly anticipated play.

Before her performance, the Oscar winner sported rosy cheeks and minimal eye makeup.

For a pop of color against her black-and-white ensemble, Chastain rocked a bold crimson lipstick and an otherwise light makeup look.

Chastain wore her copper-toned locks in an elegant look — she parted her hair down the middle and tucked both sides behind her ears.

She posed on the red carpet and refrained from carrying a handbag or additional accessories.

For jewelry, Chastain wore only a simple and classic pair of stud earrings.

Lily Allen, 37, was also in attendance for opening night and opted for a chic all-black ensemble with a black peacoat dress and A-line skirt.

The singer-songwriter donned opaque tights and black chunky boots.

She spiced up the look with a rose gold metallic quilted bag, which she carried as a clutch.

The Requiem For A Dream actress – one of the few performers to have achieved the Triple Crown of Acting – completed her look with a patterned button-up with matching velvet details.

Christian Slater, 53, was spotted on the red carpet in a navy T-shirt, black pants and a casual jacket.

The actor-producer wore a pair of black sneakers and classic frames.

Sam Waterston, 82, clad in a black trench coat and navy plaid scarf.

In hand, the actor carried a matching hat with dark blue detailing.

Underneath, the Emmy winner wore a gray suit jacket, navy tie over a white button and black pants.

Jennifer Rias wore an off the shoulder bright coral jumpsuit with a sweetheart neckline.

The theater actress completed the chic look with a pair of nude pointed-toe pumps.

Camryn Manheim, 62, wore an all-black sparkling ensemble as she posed on the red carpet.

The Ghost Whisperer actress wore a long-sleeved V-neck top with eye-catching detailing, paired with black pants.

As for accessories, she wore a dark gray thin scarf around her neck, as well as silver cutouts with a teardrop pendant.

On the red carpet, Franklin Bongjio posed with Melisa Soledad Pereyra.

The Broadway actor wore a white button-up, oversized denim blue suit jacket and khaki pants.

The actress wore a chic muted orange dress that featured a turtleneck, halter neckline and an off the shoulder style.

The pair both have multiple understudy roles on A Doll’s House.

The playwright wore a light green dress with puff sleeves and a mermaid-style skirt.

Herzog later posed with Chastain, as well as director Jamie Lloyd – whose eponymous theater company produced the play.

For his performance, Lloyd wore a sleek all-black tuxedo.

The trio also stopped to take a group photo with the rest of the cast – Grammy winner Okieriete Onaodowan, Succession’s Arian Moayed, Michael Patrick, Tasha Lawrence, Jesmille Darbouze.

Chastain stars in the revival play based on the original published in 1879.

According to the synopsis, A Doll’s House is “a three-act play about a housewife who becomes disillusioned and dissatisfied with her condescending husband.

Chastain plays the woman named Nora Helmer who leaves her husband Torvald – played by Moayed – and three children at the end of Henrik Ibsen’s proto-feminist masterpiece.

The story originally takes place in a small Norwegian town around 1800.

Ahead of the opening, A Doll’s House has been extended for another week and will now be played until June 10th.

As reported by Deadline, the manufacturing company has added an extra week due to popular demand.

A Doll’s House grossed $742,696 last week and filled 93 percent of the theater’s seating capacity.

The last time the production was revived on Broadway was in 1997.

Janet McTeer starred alongside Owen Teale.

Both received Tony Awards for their performances.
