President Xi Jinping has secured an unprecedented third term at the helm of the People’s Republic of China, completing the transition to his second decade in power. Xi, who turned 70 as President on June 15. His reconfirmation came after an unprecedented third term at the head of the Communist Party, which ended at the XXth CCP National Congress in October 2022 was taken for granted.
