The 2022 NFL Draft is in the books, the Buffalo Bills pick eight players.
Here is the summary of the eight conscripts:
- CB Kaiir Elam, Florida
- RB James Cook, Fla
- LB Terrel Bernard, Baylor
- WR Khalil Shakir, Boise State
- Fr. Matt Araiza, State of San Diego
- CB Christian Benford, Villanova
- OL Luke Tenuta, Virginia Tech
- LB Baylon Spector, Clemson
But draft weekend is far from over as we have an understaffed free hand where the Bills will look to add some players to add depth to them heading into training camp and beyond. Talented players, for whatever reason, will drop out of the draft entirely, after which phone lines will overflow and agents will start juggling calls to find the best homes for their players.
Buffalo had several undrafted free agents on their practice team in 2021, and prior to that, UDFAs frequently made their roster.
Sometimes these players are signed, and sometimes they’re offered a tryout at the rookie mini-camp, so none of this is official until announced by the team. Here are the ones we know so far:
