Shannen Doherty says the cosmetic procedure gave her “confidence.”

Shannen Doherty had a cosmetic procedure on her face and is “thrilled” with the results.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress went to a pro to get the job done, and the person who did the job posted before and after the snaps to show her followers what his magical powers were doing to the Hollywood favorite have.

The 51-year-old Charmed star also said it feels great to have work done while she battles cancer.

Doherty confirmed the procedure and included a lengthy note on Instagram about how much she loved the change.

She added: “I’ve had problems with my eyebrows since chemo. As you can see they were sparse and I’m not the person who enjoys waking up every morning and filling them up.

“I am beyond thrilled with @eyebrowking_ and the confidence boost it has given me is priceless. You are the king Tiago. Much appreciation and love sent you your way.’

She had her eyebrows filled in by Tiàgo Sampaio, who performs micropigmentation on brows.

The medical beautician is called the “king of eyebrows”.

“Today I had the pleasure of meeting @theshando and I got to improve her eyebrow shape! Thank you for trusting us ❤️,” he wrote on Instagram.

The procedure is called “eyebrow micropigmentation”.

According to Vargas Face And Skin, “Micropigmentation uses small dots of pigment, similar to the technique used in traditional tattooing. The doctor uses either a standard tattoo gun or a pen-like instrument to inject the pigment into the middle layer of the skin.

“The pigment points are buildable, which means some areas of your brows may appear a little darker. This way you can achieve ombre brows where the tails are darker than the head part.

“You can have this procedure done on other parts of the body as well. Micropigmentation of the scalp, eyeliner and eyebrows is popular with people with congenital hair growth problems.’

The website explains what is being done.

“The procedure is called eyebrow micropigmentation; it only reaches the superficial layers of the skin. Clients report little to no pain despite the use of a topical anesthetic. It lasts about 12 to 18 months depending on care, customer habits and skin type. Drawing is done in accordance with the natural shape of the eyebrows and the color of the person’s skin and hair, and the process takes about an hour and a half.

‘Investment: $1500 (Los Angeles/Boston), $1000 (Miami) including the month-long rework planned after the first visit. Touch-ups cost between $450 and $750, depending on how long ago the previous procedure was (investment varies by city). Repairs after 2 years will be charged at full price.’

This comes after Shannen accused SAG-AFTRA of canceling her union health insurance amid her battle with stage four metastatic breast cancer.

The organization’s website states, “You must earn $26,470 in your base earnings period to earn earned eligibility for Active Plan health insurance.”

In a scathing new Instagram post, Shannen took aim at both SAG-AFTRA in general and its president, Fran Drescher, who is herself a cancer survivor and describes herself as an “anti-capitalist.”

Shannen tagged Fran and wrote, “I’m curious about people like me who have been working since the age of 10 and paying dues to @sagaftra as to why our union is leaving us when we can’t work due to health reasons.”

Shannon, who shot to international fame at Beverly Hills, 90210, added, “I think we can do better for all of our members and I think you’re the person to do that.”

has reached out to SAG-AFTRA and Fran Drescher representatives for comment.

She argued: “Health insurance should not be based on annual income. It’s a lifetime contribution. And for me and many others, we’ve paid lifetime fees only to be canceled because we don’t meet your current criteria. Not OK.’

The news was accompanied by a selfie of Shannen with a stern expression while on an IV drip.

Fran was elected President of SAG-AFTRA in 2021 after telling Deadline she would mend the “dysfunctional division in this union”.

Since her heyday in the 1990s at The Nanny, she has taken the lance for a variety of causes, including early detection of cancer.

She herself suffered from cervical cancer in the 2000s, but was able to beat her disease into remission, where it has remained ever since.

After her recovery, she published a memoir called Cancer Schmancer and then founded a nonprofit organization of the same name.

The Krebs-Schmancer movement was launched with the aim of enabling as many women as possible to be able to recognize their first-stage cancer.

Shannen was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and has openly shared with her fans the grueling experience of the treatment.

After undergoing a single mastectomy, she went through radiation and chemotherapy, and eventually the cancer went into remission in 2017.

While writing that the development was “good news,” she reminded her audience, “The next five years are crucial. Reruns happen all the time.’

She announced in February 2020 that the cancer was back and — in “a bitter pill to swallow in many ways” — had reached stage four.

“I don’t think I processed it,” Shannen confessed to Good Morning America. ‘I definitely have days where I’m like, ‘Why me?’

The Charmed star shared: “And then I’m like, ‘Well why not me? Who else? Who else deserves this besides me?’ None of us do.’

Shannen, who is married to photographer Kurt Iswarienko, said her “first reaction is always worry about how — how am I going to tell my mom, my husband.”
