Captain America was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby for Marvel Comics. His first appearance was in 1941’s Captain America Comics #1 by Marvel’s predecessor Timely Comics.

Known as a patriotic hero who fought during World War II, he became very popular. Comics about the character were discontinued in 1950 due to low popularity at the time.

Beginning in 1964, it was reintroduced into the Marvel Universe. Initially, he was introduced as a weak and frail young man named Steve Rogers. After receiving an experimental serum, Rogers became a super soldier.

The hero is described as the son of an Irish immigrant couple. Despite his many health problems, he wanted to serve his country during the war. After being turned down, Rogers set out to do whatever it took to fight in World War II.

Steve was subjected to an experiment aimed at creating soldiers with great physical abilities. After receiving the serum, the young man finally becomes what he so much desired: a super soldier with super strength and a muscular and extremely resilient body.
