She rubs shoulders with Hollywood’s A-list while hosting Sunrise’s Oscars coverage.

She paired her sparkly dress with some very unique shoes – a pair of fluffy slippers.

Sonia also boosted her height by standing on a box as she made her early morning live crossroads with Natalie Barr and David Koch in the Sydney studio ahead of the ceremony.

The TV star looked half her age – her line-free and flawless complexion complemented by a radiant makeup palette.

Her trip to LA comes after Sonia sparked rumors that she plans to join the cast of the Real Housewives of Sydney.

She is said to have caught the eye of Bravo boss Andy Cohen when he was in Australia for WorldPride last month.

Cohen is executive producer of all ten Real Housewives franchises, while the Australian version is produced by Matchbox Entertainment and aired on Foxtel.

The watch what happens live! The presenter appeared to connect with the beauty of The Voice and Dancing With The Stars while they were at an event to launch Channel Seven’s new channel 7Bravo, according to Woman’s Day.

Sonia was the only Australian celebrity to appear on Andy’s Instagram stories while he was in town.

She lives with her partner Craig McPherson and their eight-year-old daughter Maggie in a $6.5 million mansion in the exclusive suburb of Mosman.

McPherson is Director of News and Public Affairs at Seven Network, responsible for 7NEWS, Sunrise, The Morning Show, 7NEWS Spotlight, The Latest and 7NEWS.com.au.

Chron Australia has reached out to Sonia’s management for comment.

It comes after Roxy Jacenko addressed rumors that she is joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Sydney.

The 42-year-old PR queen ended the year of speculation after Foxtel reported it was reviving the series with a new cast.

Roxy, who is an ambassador for Nine’s streaming service Stan, said she wouldn’t dare join a “rival network”.

‘NO! Okay, apparently I’m with Housewives,” she told Chron Australia.

“Someone from Stan called me and said, ‘Do you do housewives?’ I say, “Well, since it’s a competing network, no, I’m not.”

“And second, I don’t even know who started it [rumour]. But no. Apparently I am, but not that I’ve heard of it,” she added.

“But hey, you keep me informed. I’m fine with that.’

Last year, rumors circulated that Foxtel was secretly working on a new season of The Real Housewives of Sydney.

A source told Chron Australia that producers are keen to find a “more likable cast” than season one’s polarizing personalities.

“They’re really looking for housewives who have real connections or pre-existing arguments,” they added.

Roxy confirmed in 2017 that she turned down the Sydney installment, later commenting that the cast were too “mean” to one another.

When asked to comment by Chron Australia at the time, she laughed at the rumors but admitted it would be “good TV”.

Live from E!: The Oscars broadcast, hosted by Laverne Cox, begins live exclusively today at 8:00 a.m. on 7Bravo.
