Married At First Sight’s Harrison claims Bronte asked him to be in the wrong relationship

MAFS drama erupts on live radio as Harrison says Bronte asked him to be in a ‘fake’ relationship on their honeymoon but he turned it down – as he accused another groom of slipping into their DMs

Married At First Sight’s Harrison Boon has thrown his TV wife Bronte Schofield under the bus after speculation the couple pretended to be in a relationship despite knowing their marriage was doomed.

Speaking to The Kyle And Jackie O Show on Tuesday, Harrison, 32, claimed Bronte, 28, asked him to be in a “fake” relationship during their honeymoon but said he turned down her offer because he really wanted to that things work.

“She pulled me aside and said, ‘We could just get through this,’ and I said, ‘Bronte, I’m not here for that,’ he claimed.

Harrison said Bronte gave the example of MAFS 2022 couple Brent Vitiello and Tamara Djordjevic writing “stay” at every commitment ceremony despite numerous issues in their relationship.

“I said, ‘They hated each other … that was the worst relationship ever,’ and she said, ‘Well, we could just do that,’ and I said, ‘I’m not here for that,’ ‘ he said.

In a surprising twist, Harrison also accused Brent of romantically pursuing Bronte on social media.

“By the way, I know Brent was in Bronte’s DMs … he’s hitting on her,” the part-time stripper said, adding, “That’s why he comes so hard on me in the media.” It’s like, dude, stop trying to stay relevant.

Brent later called the radio station to confront Harrison on air, but Harrison refused to let him join the conversation, saying “He’s had his chance for the limelight, I’m not giving him mine.”

Brent has been a vocal critic of Harrison’s behavior towards Bronte in recent weeks.

Last month, he accused Harrison of gas-lighting Bronte worse than a BIC lighter after seeing them argue on the show.

“I can’t win with Harrison. Red Flag Barer at the Red Flag Olympics talks Red Flag S**t. My heart burns there,” wrote the hospitality manager on Instagram at the time.
