The actress Lucy Lawlos brought the character Xena to life in the American TV series Xena: Warrior Princess, originally shown between 1995 and 2001.

Created by Robert Tapert and John Schulian and produced by Pacific Renaissance Pictures LTDA in association with Universal Studios, the series tells the story of a warrior in search of redemption who journeys through ancient Greece with her best friend Gabrielle.

Together they face opponents of all kinds and even wellknown gods of mythology. Known for her strong temper, Xena seeks to right the wrongs of her past by helping those she has harmed so much.

Lucy was born in New Zealand and is currently 54 years old. She is the mother of three children named Daisy Lawless, Julius Robert Bay Tapert and Judah Miro Tapert.

She was married to Garth Lawless between 1988 and 1995. In 1998 she married one of the creators of “Xena”, Robert Tapert. The film producer and director is also known for his work on Hercules: The Legendary Journey, starring Kevin Sorbo.

In a 2018 publication that Tapert shared on his Instagram profile, he appears in a rare photo with his wife Lucy Lawless, who was filming one of the episodes of “Ash vs. Evil Dead” with his awesome friend Bruce Campbell.
