The North Korean military fired two rockets during a military exercise on Tuesday, North Korea’s state media KCNA said.
Two tactical ballistic missiles were launched from the ground in South Hwanghae province near the country’s west coast and flew about 611 km before hitting a ground target, the KCNA report said.
North Korea launches two more shortrange missiles
The launch of the missiles comes as South Korean and US forces conduct joint exercises dubbed Freedom Shield 23.
