Vietnamese grain reached more than 85 countries and territories with exports worth more than $4 billion in 2022, accounting for more than 15 percent of the world market share.
The International Trade Connection Conference 2023 was also held under the motto “Café Buon Ma Thuot – Connecting passion and aspiration for development”, in which around 450 representatives of importers, traders as well as companies and cooperatives that produce, process and supply coffee .Product .
The meeting served domestic and foreign coffee importers and exporters to sign 10 memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements, as well as promote the image of Da Lak province and the Café Buon Ma Thuot geographical indication, which is already protected in 32 countries and territories around the world.
Another activity carried out as part of the coffee festival that caught the attention of visitors was the Buon Don Elephant Festival 2023, held in the border municipality of Krong Na with the aim of honoring the cultural values of the ethnic minorities in the central highlands .
The VIII Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023 was attended by 37 international delegations, including two artist representatives from the provinces of Champasak in Laos and Jeollabuk, South Korea.
