There is an ongoing dispute over Lisa Marie Presley’s will between her mother (and Elvis Presley’s ex-wife) Priscilla and her daughter Riley Keough.
According to US media, the 77-year-old is arguing with her 33-year-old niece over her late daughter’s $35 million legacy after the singer left Riley as sole heir. A source told Radar Online that only the young woman and Angie Marchese – vice president of archives and exhibits at the Graceland estate in Memphis – have keys to the residence and that the locks “on the upstairs doors and archives” have been changed to prevent that Priscilla invades. Lisa Marie’s mother, who was married to Elvis from 1967 to 1973, was originally one of the trustees but was removed in a 2016 amendment designating Riley and brother Benjamin Keough as heirs. After Benjamin’s suicide in 2020 at the age of 27, Riley remained the sole recipient of the estate. However, Priscilla denies the change and according to media reports, Lisa Marie’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood is on her side, which could put her on a collision course with Riley in court.
