The body of the model and influencer was discovered outside a Miami apartment complex on March 8 and witnesses say he jumped from the balcony, TMZ reported.
Although the autopsy has been completed, authorities have not officially announced the cause of death at this time. According to media reports, however, suicide is suspected.
Thomas was part of the modeling world and was represented by London agency AMCK. She has been featured in various runway shows, magazines and advertisements.
Three days before her unexpected death, she published a post about her grandmother’s visit to her home in Fort Lauderdale, admitting the trip came at a hectic time following a recent move from California to Florida.
In one of his last messages before his death, Thomas uploaded a black and white picture of his last tattoo that read “Resilience”.
The young man, who hails from Florida, was also the founder and director of the contemporary art consultancy One Popsicle.
He was also a popular figure on Instagram, where the self-proclaimed “proud dog dad” and “aspiring firefighter” regularly uploaded photos to the delight of his more than 120,000 followers.
Some of the pictures on his page showed Thomas mingling with various celebrities, including actress Megan Fox, 36, and pop star Nicole Scherzinger, 44.
As news of his death spread, many personalities took to Thomas’s latest post on social media to leave him a message.
Kris Haigh, a fashion designer from Los Angeles, wrote: “I met you in New York many years ago. You brought a joyful energy with you every time I saw you. We never know what people are really going through. I’ll use this as a reminder to ask people how they’re doing, even if they seem happy on the outside.”
