It is not yesterday that some athletes stand out with a sometimes questionable hairstyle. Consider Tim Tebow’s tonsure in 2010. However, one UCLA player encouraged us to dig through our photo archives to see what was the worst in the field.
In connection. Thursday is the first day of March Madness in NCAA basketball and Logan Cremonesi, a UCLA forward, sports a rather whimsical hair color on his head with the hair shaved fairly close.
The hair might have nothing to do with it, but the Bruins smashed UNC Asheville 86-53.
But we’re drifting from our goal of paying homage to the ugliest haircuts in sport.
Dennis Rodman
Credit, where credit is due, even if it is not counted, it still gets the first position. The original who hit 400 hits wearing Chicago Bulls colors (before and after, one might add) never failed to amaze us with his original haircuts. You know, when we say “it’s different” or “it’s special,” it’s often code to say something different.

We don’t know what was on his mind, but the Brazilian star showed up at the 2002 World Cup with a bit of hair on his forehead and the rest of his head shaved. Brazil won the tournament, Ronaldo scored eight goals and the children of the world wanted to copy his hair while their parents pulled their hair out.
Ivan Perisic
We wanted to believe that Ivan Perisic was a man of taste, but he proved to us that he’s capable of missteps, even when it came to showing his patriotism. During Euro 2016, he appeared on the field wearing Croatia’s red and white checkered jersey. We’ll let you judge whether it’s successful or not.

In the course of his career, the lineman has always known how to attract attention with his very elaborate hairstyles. If some were successful, we think Jean Airoldi might have cleared his notebook of style penalties by looking through Garay’s photo album.
Peter Wright
Well known on the European darts scene, the Scot can sometimes look like a cross between Sex Pistols’ Johnny Rotten and host and chef Guy Fieri. We suggest you don’t laugh at his hair, especially when he’s holding arrows.
David Beckham
When you think of Beckham, you think of class and elegance. After all, when you’re married to Posh Spice, you have to embody a certain classic role model, and generally speaking, “Becks” has always had great taste. But he committed the little braids way back in 2003, and it wasn’t for the best.
