The final version of iOS 16.4 could be released in the next three weeks – iGeneration

iOS 16.4 shouldn’t take too long. The first beta dates back to February 16th and since then Apple has been releasing new previews regularly – including for iPadOS 16.4, tvOS 16.4, watchOS 9.4 and macOS 13.3. The final version of all these operating systems could be released in the next three weeks, probably in early April, according to Mark Gurman. Last year, iOS 15.4 was released on March 14th.

There are no very big new features in iOS 16.4, but we will appreciate the many emojis, support for notifications and badges for web apps, the new house architecture, the preview of Mastodon releases in Messages, small changes in the interfaces of know music, podcasts, books and in the settings…

On the watchOS 9.4 side, we will claim mileage measurement during recovery, as well as battery recalibration for the 6 Series 44mm. Not much to do with tvOS 16.4, other than maybe a better Siri for telling jokes? Finally, the only visible novelty spotted in macOS 13.3 concerns the TV app, which would restore the iPadOS sidebar.
