The 80s managed to become a strong brand itself, the almost mythical decade was enough to attract attention. In recent years, we’ve seen an increasing number of movies, TV shows, and games set around this time, and we can expect another one later this year.
Kingdom Eighties was announced for PC last year but has now been confirmed for consoles. We’ve got a new trailer showing off the adventure, which appears to be showing things that were really big in the ’80s like riding BMX bikes, hanging out at arcades, and going to summer camps. Here is the official description from the game’s Steam page:
“It was going to be a summer camp like any other: fresh air, a complete change of scenery, friendly new faces, everything you were looking forward to after a long year. On the other hand, anything would be better than staying home and hearing your parents fight day after day.
Yes, you thought so. Because a few days later, after dark, you heard strange noises and saw strange shapes with… glowing scarlet eyes? »
