Two people are being questioned by investigators from the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) in connection with a stabbing attack on a 16-year-old teenager late Sunday afternoon.

SPVM officers were called to intervene around 4pm at the corner of boulevards Perras and Rodolphe-Forget in the Rivière-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles district after a clash broke out in that sector.
When police arrived, a 16-year-old man was found at the scene with serious injuries to his upper body. He was quickly taken to the hospital by ambulance. We didn’t know his state of health on Sunday evening.
Two people were then arrested by SPVM officers and are being questioned.
The reason for the altercation is still unknown, but according to the first available information, it would have taken place outside while the injured young man would have sought refuge in “a facility” nearby.
A perimeter has been established in the area. Specialized investigators were asked to shed light on this incident.
