“Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. I love you and I love our family. Thank you all for your love and care we all feel it.”

In the pictures, the whole family sings happy birthday to the actor, who blows out the candles on a cake and receives hugs from everyone.

Willis and Demi Moore were married 13 years and have three daughters (Rumer, Tallulah and Scout). He has two other daughters (Evelyn and Mabel) with his current wife, model Emma Heming Willis.

Emma Heming also took to social media to pay tribute to her husband. She posted two videos thanking her for the support she received following Willis’ diagnosis. In one of them she let air and in the other she used a series of images from moments with Bruce Willis.

“Today is my husband’s birthday and I woke up crying. Recording these videos is like stabbing my heart but I know how much you love my husband and I am doing this for you.”

Bruce Willis’ family announced in March that the actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

American actor Bruce Willis’ family has revealed he has frontotemporal dementia

“Unfortunately, communication difficulties are just a symptom of the illness Bruce is facing. While it’s painful, it’s a relief to finally be able to come to a clear diagnosis,” the actor’s family said in a statement on the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration website.

“FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can affect anyone. In people under the age of 60, FTD is the most common form of dementia, and since it can take years to diagnose, FTD is probably far more dominant than we know. There are currently no treatment options for the disease, a reality that we hope will change in the years to come.”

Born in Germany but raised in the United States, Bruce Willis broke through on television alongside Cybill Shepherd in the series The Cat and the Mouse.

In one of the series’ breaks, he was invited to star in ‘Hard to Kill’ (1988). That started her Hollywood career. The action film had four sequels.
