Ridge puts his arm around Bill’s shoulders and tells him he has to hold on a little longer. Bill rants that this has been the case for months… with this hideous creature sleeping in his bed. Ridge reminds Bill that this was his idea. He summarizes that in the end she is taken away and they are all safe. They turn on the listening device to hear what she’s saying.
In Bill’s living room, Sheila hisses into the phone, “Deacon, Bill can never be on our tail.”

At Bill’s, Sheila looks at the framed photos on the mantel and thinks.
In the FBI unit, Bill summarizes why he didn’t think Sheila was dead and went to the FBI. He laments that seeing this woman on camera and in real life is real torture. Ridge notes that watching her 24/7 isn’t a cakewalk for him either…or Bill, for that matter. “Although he did enjoy Bill’s choice of pajamas this morning. Bill wants to make sure there are no cameras in the bedroom. Ridge assures him that’s not the case – no one could have missed that. Ridge tells Bill he thought he was crazy when he came up with this plan. Bill shrugs that past attempts to keep Sheila behind bars have failed. You must get this confession. He marvels that he tricked her into believing that she actually got the love she wanted from him. “It’s really hard to keep up that facade. Night after night I look pure evil in the eye and whisper sweet nothings in its ear.” Ridge thinks he deserves a best actor award. “You did it. You caught her up like a pro.” Bill remembers the night he lured her onto the beach. He knew she had been watching him at Il Giardino and sent her enough signals to getting her to follow him to the beach. There he played the part of the lonely heartbroken man and she bought hook, line and plumb line. Bill remembers how they talked for hours and he used his magic to get her to get him to trust him…along with the promise of freedom.”It was risky. Sheila could have gotten suspicious. It was also risky to tell her that Taylor shot me, but she had to be involved, to do that.” the blackmail scheme worked.” So he went to the FBI to make sure Taylor was off the hook.
