The targets have been classified as two U.S. Air Force B-52H strategic bomber targets,” the statement said, explaining that a Su-35 fighter jet was airlifted to “identify violations of Russia’s state border and to prevent”. “After the removal of foreign military aircraft from the state border of the Russian Federation, the Russian fighter plane returned to its home base,” the Russian Defense Ministry said. “The flight of the Russian fighter jet was carried out in strict accordance with the international rules for the use of airspace.
