Brazilian Artist Recreates a Realistic Art of Popeye the Sailor Online Séries

The sailor Popeye became a classic comic book character and also the animated series of the same name created by Fleischer Studios and later Famous Studios for Universal Pictures.

The series is currently owned and produced by a Warner subsidiary called Turner Entertainment by Warner Bros. Entertainment.

It was created by Elzie Crisler Segar and after his death in 1938 his assistant Bud Sagendorf was one of those responsible for continuing the story of the famous oneeyed sailor who uses a pipe and becomes strong when he eats spinach.

Popeye always saves his great love Olive Olive from the fearsome Brutus. His most notable features include his traditional sailor’s uniform and the tattoos of anchors on his arms.

He is described as a man with a “deformed face”. Your age is displayed in a number of ways. In some short films he is said to be around 40 years old. Others already claim he is younger, he is about 34 years old.
