Montrealers who use Uber’s services for their trips don’t seem to get good press from drivers, according to a new Quebec Index of Passenger Ratings.

This index, published for the first time by the company on Tuesday, shows that the good marks are attributed to the cities of Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières, which also occupy the first two places at national level.
Montreal ranks fifth in the provincial ranking behind Gatineau and Quebec, but metropolitan Quebec can take consolation as Ottawa and Toronto overtake it in the register of bad grades nationally.
Uber drivers rate customers on multiple aspects, depending on respectful attitude, willingness to get in, reflex to fasten seatbelt and not slam the vehicle door when exiting.
According to Uber, “Riders can see how many drivers have given them a 5-star rating, or… just 1 star!” which users can view at any time through the application by accessing their privacy center.
