Much like the Batman character he portrays in the recently released Batman movie, actor Robert Pattinson has a different personality. However, this is not a superhero, but someone who anonymously argues with Batman haters. Indeed, Robert Pattinson recently admitted to arguing anonymously with haters online.
He brought this up during a conversation with Vanity Fair, explaining that sometimes trolls go too far. As a result, he finds the need for an answer. Obviously, this is very different from fighting crime, but still very funny.
Here’s what he revealed:
“Sometimes I just get pushed too far and I have to say something,” he joked. “So when sometimes you just see a pretty abstract message like ‘Just please just leave me alone’, that’s me [laughs]. “Stop picking on flaws. I am doing everything possible.’ [laughs]”.
Although Robert Pattinson has shown that there are some good things to be found on the Internet. In fact, he used many forums as inspiration in preparing for the role.
“It’s actually very… I’m just re-reading them again and it’s very helpful to have these fan theories,” he explained. “I used to go through a lot of stuff on the forum, and it really gave a lot to my character. I still look at him… I usually hide.”
Either way, it looks like Robert Pattinson didn’t end up arguing with anyone online. As it turns out, The Batman did well with fans and critics alike. The film was released on March 4, 2022 and Robert Pattinson is often considered one of the film’s highlights. Thus, it seems likely that any inspiration he drew from online forums also benefited him. So, if fans haven’t seen The Batman yet, they still have the option to see it in theaters.
