The presidential election in Montenegro has yet to produce a first-round winner: incumbent Milo Djukanovic and pro-Serb “Europe Now!” party candidate Jakov Milatovic will go into the run-off on April 2 as the top two. winners. Milatovic won 29% of the vote on the first ballot, Djukanovic 35.
The leader of the openly pro-Serb and pro-Russia Democratic Front, Andrija Mandic, came in third with 19% of the vote. On election night, he declared his support for Milatovic in the runoff against Djukanovic.
