It doesn’t work anymore! The U17 World Cup will not be held in Peru following a government decision

Due to the national emergency due to rainfall in various regions of the country, the government has decided that the U-17 World Cup can no longer take place in Peru. And according to the journalist Gustavo Peralta from Líbero, so far there is information that the state authorities will give priority to the appropriate measures to help the people affected by the climate phenomenon.

Although there is still no official statement from President Dina Boluarte’s government, inside the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) they hope that FIFA will not sanction the national sports entity because of an extraordinary situation.
